Queen
Honestly, my favourite band really is Queen. Can’t beat Freddie’s voice. <3
But to address the issue at hand, I really am getting tired and annoyed of reading about all this hate speech coming from Tumblr.
Honestly, it really doesn’t matter if you’re cisgendered, binary gendered, transgendered, asexual, homosexual, bisexual, heterosexual, pansexual, whatever colour your skin happens to be; BULLYING IS STILL BULLYING.
Saying that someone is stupid because they happen to identify with a different gender is wrong.
Saying that someone is stupid because they happen to identify with their own gender is wrong.
Saying that someone is stupid because they happen to date their own gender is wrong.
Saying that someone is stupid because they happen to date a different gender is wrong.
No one deserves to be bullied due to their sexual orientation or gender preference, regardless of what it is.
Sigh, sorry, had to rant a bit there. I just don’t like bullies. And really, if anyone came out to me that they’re whatever-sexual/gendered, I have absolutely no problem with that, and I support you no matter what. :3

Wow, I just read through from the first comic, and love it. Will be following. 🙂
Thank you~! :3
Just saw a Queen concert by the local Philharmonic. Great performance overall, but the one song I can’t stand they played at the end. “Rock You” is a mnemonic infector for me, I can’t help it, it just is. Regarding bullying, I find it particularly odd that none of the old motives against viraphilia (a better word for homosexualality, I think, but I am a Latin buff), seem to be driving the majority of modern bullies. Studies suggest that most of the worst bullys are not religious, or have strong religious backgrounds, for example. What do you think is the motive?
hmm, well I actually wrote an entire blog post about bullying, however I’m waiting for it to be featured in an emagazine first before posting it here. also it pertains less about bullying because of gender/ sexual identity and more about bullying in general.
but honestly, I think some people just don’t have the correct outlet to let out their frustrations, so they take it out on other people.
And it’s ok not to like “We Will Rock you”, not every Queen song is for everybody :3
But I still think that Queen is a universal band, and everyone can find something that they’ve done that they like. :3 Just doesn’t have to be every song. Or could be just one song.
The clique phenomenon, some argue, is a byproduct of modern public education for the past 100 years, and the bullying of any sort of minority, in relation to the popular majorities, is an inevitable side effect, if not carefully nipped in the bud by observant educators, who are often stretched too thin for the task. If not given a rite of passage by society, teens tend to invent their own, and that tribal instinct inevitably produces “losers”. This is across the board, whether parents are liberal or conservative. There is no traditional taboo against being a nerd in any religion, for example, so gay kids may have inevitably have been picked on even without traditional precedent, since orientation variation, by it’s nature, will always be a minority.
one of the reasons i want to move to another country is to escape from discrimination… just to give you an example… in my country we have way more ofensive words to call inmigrants, homosexuals, subcultures and anything different to the “NORMAL argentinian” than words that are not… we literally have an “dictionary of namecalling” wich is bigger than any “RAE dictionary”(Real Academia Española) as a ginger, who had something similar to epilepsy but i dont know the english name of it, came from a wealthy family but is actually poor to the point of not having enough money to eat some times(there are lots of people who have it worse, but in context, my generation is the first one to be hungry in my father family) so you can imagine why i would rather go anywere else…
do you think bullies are stupid enough to believe they are right? or are they evil?(saying it with friends and family that are either death or beaten because of sexual preferences, amount of wealth, the way they look like, etc)
