That being said, there are a lot of people out there with N7 sweaters running around my neighbourhood, and I’m annoyed that I don’t know any of them yet.
Dear Violet, I’ve served many years on the SSV Normandy 1 and 2. Geth, Collectors, Reapers… I’ve fought them all and won. How do I get people to properly address me as “Commander” or “Commander Shepard” ? >:(
lol I honestly wish I knew how to do that as well. Heck, you’d think after all those years, even with your love interest, they’d be able to call you by your first name…
It sucks when you meet people with common interests that we don’t know. I know how it is to be victim of the “hey I know all about you but you don’t know me at all”
I suggest using the Canadian friendliness to your advantage. Approach them saying something like “Hey, it’s been a while since we met. I’m Sam, the N7 geek that was at the last Mass Effect Party! What’s your favorite Mass Effect Mission?” At least you will be able to distinguish the posers after that.
*sigh*… oh Tali and Jack… how I miss you both.
